Bricking a mobile home

A passport to super resale value!

Begin removing the shutters and siding off  the home.

Remove and replace the door if it is dated and out of style.

Begin laying your first row of brick.

If the concrete block piers have not been covered with cement, you should do so now to add extra support to the home.

Working your way round the home.

First you must remove the skirting and check the piers for sturdiness.

After the door and window work is complete, begin digging the foundation area around the home.

Attach to the home the hardware that adds support by connecting the brick to the home.

If windows need replacing, now would be the best time to do so.

Place any necessary rebar into place and fill the hole with cement.

....and upwards!

The resale value of the home should now be double if not triple what it was before .

Most manufactured homes today are built with enough roof overhang to allow the home to be bricked.

After the foundation areas are dug out, it is almost time to call the cement trucks.

The outside brick work is almost done and it’s time to work on the front porch.

Pour your foundation for the porch as we did before.

The home is begining to take on a new look.

Begin landscaping and finish with the porch.

Please be patient for pictures to load.
